Award winning duo garnered critically acclaimed concerts at Mostly Mozart, London Bach festival, Ravinia festival and Aspen Music festival, Carnegie Hall festival working with conductors Zubin Mehta, Andre Previn, Thomas Sanderling, Ivan Fischer, Leonard Slatkin, Peter Oundjian with Seattle Symphony Orchestra, London Bach orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic, Toronto Chamber orchestra, Aspen Festival Orchestra, Budapest Festival Orchestra and National Symphony Orchestra in Kennedy Center.
Duo had work with modern composers Gyorgy Kurtag, Gyorgy Ligeti, Sebastian Currier, Kaija Saariaho, Philip Glass, Isang Yun, George Tsontakis, Ionel Petroi. New York’s Metropolitan Opera's new production "Two boy" by young American composer Nico Muhly which lead Muhly to write two violins and piano work for Chun. As recording artists have made several critically acclaimed recording for Harmonia mundi , their “Philip Glass / Nico Muhly”. Disc climbed to top charts on Billboard & ITunes in US and aboard.
Byond their focus on classical works, they often collaborates contemporary composers and distinguished modern dancers and visual artist with their music to present multi-genre arts form for new generation of divers audiences.
In 2016 Angela & Jennifer were honored as United Nation’s Peace Artists, their concert for UN opening was live streamed to 193 countries simultaneously. Since 2007, the Chun Duo, along with Anne-Sophie Mutter and Maxim Vengerov, have held a highly prestigious position as string mentors, teaching at Royal Academy of Music in London.
