Jovan Velickovic

An exceptionally talented double bassist, Jovan Velickovic, winner of many international and national prizes and awards, was born in Kraljevo, Serbia. He studied in the School for Young Talents in Ćuprija and later in Belgrade studying with Magdalena Rancic. Presently, as a scholarship student at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, Slovenia, which was awarded by the Slovenian government, he is continuing his studies with professor Zoran Markovic. We loved working with him this past season and are so thrilled that he will be joining our team in 2022!
