Mladen Miloradović
Mladen Miloradovic has established himself as a principal orchestra cellist, a passionate chamber musician and a dedicated teacher. Born in Belgrade, Serbia, he holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Music Academy in Belgrade where he studied with with Prof. Dejan Bozic, Master’s degree form Hochschule für Künste in Bremen where he studied with Prof. Alexander Baillieand, and a second Master’s degree from the Konzertexamen studies with Prof. Xenia Jankovic from the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold. His other mentors were many world renowned cellists such as Wolfgang Boettcher, Gary Hoffman, Alban Gerhardt, Louise Hopkins, Christoph Richter, Jerome Perno and Istvan Varga.
A winner of the Grand Prix at the Madrid International Competition, the ISA Festival Competition in Semmering and a top Laureate at the Anton Rubinstein competition in Düsseldorf, Mr. Miloradovic has appeared as a soloist with the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie in Herford and the Jungendorchester OLW performing the Dvořák Cello Concerto. He performed John Tavener’s The Protecting Veil with Sinfonieorchester Aachen and the Ibert Cello Concerto with Sinfonieorchester Münster. His other notable performances of the lesser known Stamitz Cello Concerto with Collegium Musicum Bielefeld and Folkwang Kammerorchester Essen as well as Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations were highly praised. He has been featured as a guest principal cellist with the Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest, Beethoven Orchester Bonn, Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn, Royal Philharmonic in Liège, and Niederrheinische Philharmonie and has worked with a number of leading conductors as Michael Sanderling, Reinhardt Goebel, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, Bernhard Forck, to name a few.
A frequent guest artist at music festivals in Poland, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Netherlands and Germany, Mr. Miloradovic has been a regular guest cellist at the Musikdorf Ernen Festival in Switzerland and is a member of the Del Gesu String Quartet.
Mr. Miloradovic is also known as a composer, arranger, composer conductor and his arrangements and compositions were presented at the Cello Biennale in Amsterdam, European Chamber Music Festival in Danzig, and Festival Musikdorf Ernen. His 3rd Symphony was chosen from 80 other submitted works to be premiered and recorded in Serbian radio. Currently his Dvorak Variations for 8 cellos is commissioned to be premiered at Cello Biennale Amsterdam in 2022.
Presently a cello professor at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen, Mr. Miloradovic has recorded for the Sony Classical and ORF, for RTS Serbia, Netherlands Radio, Deutschlandfunk Kultur.
